The contrast is deliberate and powerful: the car, a symbol of American prosperity and freedom, gleams in full color while the world around it remains frozen in sepia.

Painted with extraordinary photorealistic precision in acrylic, every chrome detail, every reflection in the paint, every crack in the Havana pavement is rendered with the patience and skill of a master. The yellow Cuban license plate — HFW 9013 — grounds the work in specific time and place.
